                      presents "We're Black & Gold and We Never Get Old" 
                                     The 48th Annual Gideon Homecoming   
                                    Aug 29th - Aug 31st. Hosted by the Class of 1974                                                                                                                                     

Thursday, August 29th - Starting at 6pm in the cafeteria:  58th Annual Gideon Junior King and Queen,  4th Annual Petite Miss Gideon, and Tween Miss Gideon 

Friday Night.  August 30th  

6 pm in the cafeteria - 4th Annual Junior Miss Gideon and 78th Annual Miss Gideon Contest.  All former queens are encouraged to attend so that they can be recognized between the pageants. 

All pageants are sponsored by the GFWC-Woman's Club of Gideon.

3rd Annual Corn Hole Tournament - Sponsored by Gideon Fire Department located in the new fire station.  The tournament will start after the pageant. 
Food and drinks will be available along with some great music. 

Saturday Aug 31st. 

Pancake Breakfast
7:00am - 9:00am at the Community Center -
Price: $7.00 - Proceeds will go to the Gideon Park Board.


"Alumni Reception" hosted by the Class of '74,
Held in the Old Gym from 10am - 12pm.
Enjoy free refreshments while visiting with friends and viewing work by "74 alumnus Rita Huckeby

Activities on the Main Grounds

Music, Games, Crafts & Food Booths on the grounds from 10am - 3 pm.

Plan Ahead! Reserve your booth space on the school grounds for Saturday by calling Vonda Earnheart at 573-281-0057.

Visit the Alumni Booth located on the school grounds:

  • Get information on the 2nd Annual Golf Tournament
  • Enter for a door prize
  • Purchase Alumni merchandise
  • Order Memorial Bricks

Visit the Gideon Museum at the Community Center Building 8am - 10am and 1pm - 3pm.
You might also want to take a stroll through the City Courtyard!


Parade Starts at 2pm! Judging of floats at 1:30pm.

Alumni Dinner Saturday Aug 31st.
 - 6pm - School Cafeteria
Tickets: $22 per person plus $5 Alumni dues for a total: $27

To have an accurate count for the dinner cater all tickets MUST be ordered and PAID
ON or BEFORE  AUGUST 16th.

NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD ON THE GROUNDS ON SATURDAY.
RESERVED TICKETS CAN BE PICKED UP AT THE ALUMNI TENT ON THE GROUNDS
A great evening is planned with nostalgic food and entertainment provided by the Class of 1974.
